The Okefenokee Heritage Center in Waycross, GA is proud to fulfill the needs of our community by providing art and history outreach and education. Art education has historically helped students improve their grades, find fulfillment in their lives, and prepare them for careers.

Over 40 people and 6 published authors were present for 4th Annual Writer’s Guilds Awards. “We’re so proud of her,” The parents of winner Cheyenne Irby said. Students and adults submitted short stories and poetry to be judged by local officials and published authors.
