The OHC Art Guild

The Okefenokee Heritage Center (OHC) Art Guild’s mission is to support the creative endeavors of members and the visual arts in our community in an atmosphere of learning and camaraderie, and is open to all who are interested in the visual arts. The OHC Art Guild meets at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th Tuesday of every month. These casual, fun meetings offer an opportunity for experienced and budding artists to expand on their techniques and education.

Artists from all walks of life and with an interest in mediums including acrylic, watercolor, oil, pastels, wood carving, and ceramics are invited to share their talents. Numerous opportunities are available for OHC artists to show their work publicly at the OHC Fine Arts Gallery, the two galleries at the Memorial Satilla Healthcare Center, and in pop-up shows throughout the community. Two juried shows, the Steve Bean Youth Art Show and the Judge Ben Smith Art Show, are also offered by OHC for guild members and the wider community.
